Sensuality is the capacity of enjoying the pleasures of the senses. In this illustrated presentation, we will focus on the sensuality of the mythological scenes created by Old Masters under the inspiration of the poetry of Ovid. We will explore the lives and affairs of ancient gods and goddesses as depicted by Botticelli, da Vinci, Raphael, Titian, Rubens, Velazquez and others.

In this PowerPoint lecture, Emilia will share the knowledge she gained from the exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Topics include: Shoe history (development and changes in styles), categories (casual/dress up/occupational), prestigious shoe designers and fun facts relating to shoes (quotes, most uncomfortable, most expensive and collections).
