The Internet is not only changing the way we work, play, shop and communicate, it is also changing how we look for
jobs. This program will show participants how to use the tremendous resources available online for job hunting and career exploration. Learn how to investigate various careers along with job and training opportunities, research the job market and search for employers online. In addition, learn the new “rules”, including the application process and what electronic resumes are all about. This entertaining multimedia presentation includes visiting all the major career and employment websites and will demonstrate how the Information Superhighway may be the road to your next job.
Randy Shannon has many years of senior management experience and is a frequent presenter on Internet, employment and technology issues. He has a graduate degree from Columbia University and has studied graphic and Web design at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. He is a Novell-certified Internet Business Strategist as well as a Certified Internet Webmaster.

HOW TO SELL ON eBAY & CRAIGSLIST

Declutter your home and fill your wallet at the same time! Ms. Weber will share her eight years of successful experience selling items on the Internet. She will explain the entire process of selling on eBay or Craigslist. Learn how to set up an account, post items for sale, upload photos and shipping information. Become aware of “the pitfalls” such as scammers who respond and other safety issues. A take-home reference guide with simple steps will be included.
